Here’s the peep from an evening of classical and semi-classical music event organized by Pratidhwani. The event was held on 5th Mar’17 at Belleuve Youth Theatre in Seattle, WA. It encompassed the Hindustani Khyaal, Hori, Natyageet and semi-classical film songs and was presented by Pallavi Ekbote – an accomplished classical singer, Deepashree Joglekar on Harmonium and Jayant Bhopatkar playing Tabla. These artists are known for their versatility and virtuosity in their respective arena thereby elated the event and made it enchanting one for all.
Pratidhwani is a non-profit cultural organization based in Seattle, USA. The motive is to promote and cultivate the performing arts of the Indian origin and recognize the myriad styles, genres and traditions.
