Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis graced on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas 2017. Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned that Engagement with the overseas Indian community has been a key area of priority. The occasion was the perfect way to do the same.
In an interview with Davendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharastra stated that Maharastra has number of opportunities, come and explore it. Also in his speech on PBD dais, he invited everyone to ‘magnetic’ Maharastra and discussed about his vision for Maharashtra state.
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is organized to commemorate the return of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa in Bombay on 9 January 1915. It also talks about the contribution of the overseas Indian community to the development of India.
