TV Asia brings to you a special interview with Raghunath Manet, an Indian classical musician and dancer trained in Bharathanatyam and playing the Veena. He was honored with an award at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for his contributions to the world of arts with his dance and music around the globe.
Raghunath Manet is a devotee of lord Shiva and strongly believes in the concept of performing dance and music for the cause of humanity. He also explained about the significance of the 7 dance forms or the 'Tandava's' of lord Shiva which have inspired him deeply and he has also written a book on them. Explaining the need to showcase Indian arts to the world, he urged people with interest in the field of arts to come forward with their contributions and spread the message of peace and harmony with it.
