TV Asia brings an exclusive coverage of the protest held against CNN by the Hindu community in Chicago because of a documentary portraying Hinduism in a bad light by reporter Reza Aslan. Even as it was raining and the weather was not so pleasant, several hundred Indian-Americans turned up for the protest rally with banners highlighting slogans such as 'Racist CNN' and 'Shame on CNN'...
The aim of the protest rally was to tell the broadcasting company and the world that the grotesque practices of five aghori baba's showcased in the report had nothing to do with Hinduism and that the religion has way beyond positive aspects which were ignored. Many important figures attended the protest and demanded another report to be showcased where Hindu scholars are invited to talk about the religion and its achievements. It's a must watch....
