TV Asia brings to you an exclusive coverage of the Mana samskriti volunteer appreciation event held at Seattle in US. It was a Volunteers Appreciation Day cum Ugadi celebrations programme held basically to appreciate the volunteers who have been working hard to service the community.
Ugadi is the New Year's Day for the Hindus of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana state in India which has been important and historic festival for the Telegu community. Ramayana was enacted by kids of various age group with many interacting with each other and learning about the culture. It was an attempt to inculcate the values and teachings inherited by Ramayana among the participating kids. Mana samskriti as an organization aims to serve the community by imparting the language and cultural aspects of India so as to imbibe the richness and diversity of that tradition and spark the innate, creative intent inside everyone.
