Here's an exclusive coverage bought to you by TV Asia for the 15th annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) which took place in April, 2017 at Regal L.A., a Barco Innovation Center in Los Angeles, California. This was IFFLA’s first year in the state-of-the-art, world-class cinema in the heart of Los Angeles’ vibrant and developing downtown district. Zee Cinema returned for a third year as IFFLA’s presenting sponsor. Features, documentaries and shorts including animation films were a part of the film festival. Films competed for Jury and Audience Choice Awards for Best Feature Film and Best Short Film.
The five-day fest once again helped in bridging the gap between the two largest entertainment industries in the world – Hollywood and India. The festival showcased more than 30 films from or about India, and hosted the highly anticipated opening and closing red carpet galas and the awards ceremony.
