Telugu Association of North America (or TANA, as it is well known) is the oldest and biggest Indo-American organization in North America. It aims to identify and address social, cultural and educational needs of North American Telugu Community in particular and Telugu people in general. By authorization of TANA Board of Directors, the TANA Nominations and Elections committee conducted the TANA organizational elections for the 2017-2019 term for the Executive Committee and 2017-2021 term for the Board of Directors and the TANA Foundation.
Efforts were made by the Nominations and Elections committee to make the election process an enjoyable experience. Election Guidelines and other information about the elections were also made available at www.tana.org for all the community members. The election trusts final ballot tabulation results based on a total of 17,7601 votes was released on May 13, 2017.
