TV Asia brings to you an exclusive coverage of he Hasya Kavi Sammelan event - "UMANG TARANG" hosted by Utsav in Seattle for the very first time. "UMANG TARANG" is a Celebration of laughter, dance and poetry. The event was attended by Dr. Ashok Chakradhar who has been writing and reciting his poetry for over 55 years now and is known as one of India's finest poetic gems. He has also been awarded the Padma Shri by Government of India in 2014 and Yash Bharti by Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2016 and needs no more introduction.
Also, his daughter Dr. Sneha Chakradhar aded a magical touch of poetic dance who has been pursuing the classical dance form of Bharatnatyam for over 25 years. The event was also graced by Abhinav Shukla, a well renowned poet. Abhinav transforms hectic lifestyles to humor and happiness. We are proud to have him on this fun ride. The event aimed at raising funds for the underprivileged sections of the society and supporting the cause by "Gift of Giving" to the needful.
