TV Asia brings to you an exclusive coverage of a 3-day workshop 'Dhrupad days' organized by the Dhrupad Music Institute of America in Seattle, WA. With its presence in several locations across the United States, the institute aims to promote, propagate and teach Dhrupad, both vocal and instrumental as well as to propagate Indian classical music in general. With 4 successful years at seattle, this is the 5th year that the event is being organized with 25 students participating in the workshop.
Dhrupad Days is a fantastic opportunity to immerse oneself in the blissful notes of India’s oldest classical music art form guided by world famous Dhrupad masters Padmashri Gundecha Brothers. It was an opportunity to improve vocal techniques and learn very beautiful and nuanced musical sound production techniques, no matter what one's skill level or genre.
