The event was held between June 30 and July 2 with Spritual Discourse, Individual blessings, Meditation Retreat and Homa - Sacred Fire Ceremony. Individual Blessings are a chance for families to come before Amma to recive her gift of profound love and spiritual energy. For many people the Individual Blessing is an encounter with the Divine in the form of a human being -a saint, a teacher, a guru, a loving mother. The retreat also provided an invaluable opportunity for devotees to deepen their meditation practice and to listen to the inspirational wisdom of Amma’s divine discourses.
Saraswati Diksha Initiation is another sacred process through which the divine energy of the mantra is transmitted to the student along with extra special blessings. Sri Saraswati Mantra diksha bestows abundant blessings on a student, such that their mind will blossom with the great qualities of concentration, creativity, discrimination and attention. Homa is the most ancient and sacred ceremony in the Vedic tradition of Sanatana Dharma. Amma presided over the sacred fire ceremony, even performing the homa herself.
