Dr Kumar Vishwas, Hindi-language performance poet and a member of national executive of Delhi’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party, was recently hosted by Indo-American Society of Bay Area, CA.
Dr Vishwas was visiting the US after a gap of two years. A packed auditorium with guests were entertained by Dr Vishwas in an evening of poetry, humor and other Indian literary elements.
Dr Vishwas has participated in poetry recitations and events globally. He has been awarded certificate of recognition by California State Assembly. He has been invited to La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia to deliver a guest lecture on the topic "The life of poetry in modern India - culture, poetry and song.”
