Pandit Dhananjay Kaul, the Sufiana maestro from India performed at a recent music concert at the Impact Center of Global Mall in metro Atlanta. It was a well-organized feast of dinner and music to benefit plans for construction of a replica of Kheer Bhawani USA temple in Atlanta. The charity concert was held on Sundayevening, July 16, 2017.
It was a Classical, Bhajans and Sufiana Musical evening in Atlanta organized by non-profit Kashmir Overseas Association (KOA) and Shiv Mandir of Atlanta. Pandit Dhananjay Kaul specializes in many styles of singing, including Hindustani classical music Khayal, or Raga as well as semi-classical forms Thumri, Dadra, Kafi, Ghazal, Sufiana Kalam and Bhajans.
Pandit Dhananjay Kaul, the Sufiana maestro from India, performed to a standing ovation as more than 200 Indian-American expatriates attended the concert in Atlanta. The concert drew a diverse audience of fans of Hindustani classical, Sufiana music, and above all, Kashmiri music.
