Hari Om Mandir Youth Night 2017 was an event filled with amazing singing, dancing, music, acting and fun held on Sunday, 14th August 2017 at Lake Park High School in Roselle, Il. Participants varied between age group 8-18 made it to the event and Fashion show was open to both children and parent of all ages. The program started with the traditional Lighting of the Diya and offering prayers to Ganesh Ji. Once, the ball was set rolling, there was no looking back from Classical Bharatanatyam to Bollywood dances, from Punjabi folk to modern hip hop, from vocal singing to instrumental music, the kids had so much to offer.
Hari Om Mandir is a temple managed by the Hindu Society of Metropolitan Chicago where most of the important festivals of Hindu religion and cultural events are celebrated every year. The authorities decided to recognize the youth artists in the community and celebrated the Youth day with pomp and fervor. Each and every performance was of a high class standard and clearly showed the amount of practice & the long hours these kids had spent in preparation. Extra-ordinary talent was exhibited among huge applause and appreciation.
