Vernon Hills Indian Association organized the Summer Celebration - Picnic on August 6th at Old Forest Preserve. The event was filled with lots of Food, Games, Activities, Music, Prizes for Adults and Childrens. People from all the age groups participated in the event. It as a great get-together opportunity for the people of the community and it is also an opportunity to give back to the community, support local businesses.
Vernon Hills Indian Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the awareness and promotion of Indian Heritage and Culture. It serves the Greater North shore Chicago communities including but not limited to Vernon Hills, Indian Creek, Mundelein, Libertyville, Lincolnshire, Hawthorn Woods, Long Grove & Grayslake. As an organization, its primary focus is to promote the activities preserving the Indian culture and to increase youth involvement and to enable event participation.
Vernon Hills Indian Association aims to provide a means for the Indian community to gather as a nonprofit organization. Promote and grow diverse socail, cultural, and educational activities that connect and preserve our heritage. Allowing engagement and networking at all age groups. Grow and enhance mutual respect, understanding and goodwill of the Indian community as a responisble part of the broader communnity.
