Glimpse of Festival of Globe (FOGsv)

FOG Movie Fest 2017 is a very unique festival which is much more than a celebration of good cinema held between August 5-11. Festival of Globe (FOGsv) is San Francisco Bay Area’s premier multi ethnic cross cultural extravaganza. The week-long festival packages film arts, visual arts, performing arts and folk arts from around the globe into a lively and intense celebration of the richness and diversity of cultures. It offers a platform for showcasing movies of independent, new, upcoming film makers.
 
A unique collection of short films, narratives, and documentaries from various countries, including UK, Australia, Fiji, Nepal, India, Russia, Poland, Japan, China, Mexico were shown from August 5th through August 12th, 2017, offering a one time opportunity to see ground breaking, thought provoking, good cinema, away from the mainstream. Film Doctor By Heart helmed by Dr Ranu Sinha, was premiered in California. The film follows a man, Romesh Japra, based out of a small town in Punjab, who is a renowned heart specialist in The United States of America. According to Dr Ranu Sinha, Doctor By Heart, extending to lengths of 1 hour 10 minutes, is a biopic based on the life of Dr Romesha Japra.
 
The festival, which aims at uniting the Indians living in America, is gaining momentum with its new achievements. Dr. Romesh aspires to bring the countless Indians in America under one umbrella through cultural, political and economical progress.
