Here's a glimpse of the 10th Anniversary celebrations of the Bhartiya Senior Citizens (BSC) of Chicago at Jain Center in Bartlett. The event was attended by more than 900 people thus making it a grand success. The event started with lamp lighting ceremony in which all the guests participated. Haribhai Patel, president of BS welcomed all the guests and also addressed everyone with various welfare tasks they have been carrying out for the community. He also thanked all the donors for the support with a donation fo $25,000.
The event was a gala evening for all with Aishwarya Majamudar entertaining all the guests in the bollywood music concert 'Masti ki Pathshala' with old and new Hindi film songs. She also entertained the crowd with some well known Gujarati songs. A grand dinner was also organized for all the guests.
Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago is non-profit organization founded in 2007. Since then it has been carrying out various welfare programs for the community and it now has more than 1,100 senior citizen as members. The organization aims to have a building of his own for all the activities to be carried out for the senior members.
