Here's a glimpse of the fundraiser event organized by American Association of Retired Asians (AARA) for the benefit of the community. This event was organized where seniors from surrounding areas could take advantage and contribute with their subsidized donation for the benefit of the community. The emphasis was on the fact that regardless of the amount of contribution, it matters a lot that the people of the community are actively participate in the event. AARA aims at having maximum participation for such events and all other informative events.
AARA inspires, engages and enhances the emotional, social and physical well-being of the senior community of South Asian Origin. The mission of the American Association of Retired Asians (AARA) is to provide and/or facilitate access to services to help meet the growing needs of the senior population in the South Asian Community. While the services provided by AARA are available to all, AARA was specifically established to address the complex needs of the under-served South Asian senior population. This population has long gone under-served due to various cultural and linguistic barriers that have prevented access to public and private resources. AARA strives to overcome these barriers by providing cultural and linguistically compatible services or assistance to seniors to access available public resources and private service providers.
